Wilson PX3 Golf Balls
The Wilson PX3 plays much like the Srixon Z-URS, but it has superior spin and control in a short game. Advanced golfers who want to concentrate on bettering their game from their irons and on the green will find that these balls offer excellent performance with an exceptionally soft feel. Three pieces in the construction create the playability characteristics of this ball. Infused nano particles in the rubber material compose the soft core which still gives the ball a high energy and velocity. Inside the soft ionomer cover, is an HPF mantle layer. This mantle enhances speed and acceleration as well as spin from the irons. The spin from shorter shots is better in the Wilson PX3 than the Titleist NXT Tour, but the distance off of a driver is very similar. Control from both the short and long shots is increased by the 312 shallow dimples with flat bottoms. These dimples drastically reduce the drag on the ball and enable the ball to fly in a more stable path.
