Nike One Platinum Golf Balls
The Nike One Platinum shares much with the other Nike distance balls, but it also has its own unique traits which increases its control, softness, and short game spin. The Nike One Platinum is a softer distance ball than the Nike One Black, and it also has better control in a short game. Its high velocity progressive density core reduces spin and increases speed and distance off of driver shots. Like the Gold, the Platinum is a four piece ball with two mantles surrounding this high velocity core. More spin in short shots than three piece balls is achieved by the presence of the outer mantle. Greens control and spin is due to the soft urethane cover. Fewer dimples, 336, than the Nike One Gold's 408, mean that the Nike One Platinum does not have the same amount of lift and stability, but it is comparable to other similarly dimpled tour balls.
Nike One Platinum balls provide a better feel than the firmer Black, but it is a very durable ball which is sure to last for many more holes than the Callaway HX Tour or the Titleist Pro V1.
